- How long have you been dreading?
- I feel like a bit of a faker after seeing all these beautiful natural self evolving dreads on here but I'll be honest and admit I paid a loctician to dread my tresses, I'm pleading unfortunate ignorance on this though as I hadnt found this site yet. My 70 dreadies were born on Sat 19th March 2011 - labour lasted 12hrs :)
- Dreading methods, maintenance, and products used (if you currently have dreads)
- 1) back combing
2) twist/rip
3) crochet hook
Using 'DreadPepper' powder
I know, I know, Im learning a little too late that all these tools and products are only a hinderance so I will be letting my hair have its own say and going a la natural from now on.

Moneybags McGuilicutty said… - haha thanks!! how big do you plan to go??? im at a 3/4.. im putting up pictures of my recent pierce, which was yesterday, i pierced my outter conch cartilage, they had to punch a hole in my ear, Double 00 and then push a 7/16 into in, it was quite painful to be honest but now they look awesome! can't wait for them to fully heal so i can have tunnels there as well, and for the sleeve, i love it! It's a Madagascar Rainforest! Nice to have meet you by the way, how long have you been dreading for?

I have always been hard on myself...never enough rest or knowing my limits. I am very hyper and take on quite alot for myself. I developed Fibromyalgia and Arthritis awhile back and since I have cut hair for 30 years and had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands years ago, I find my poor hands and arms are just wearing out! I decided to strip old wall paper and paint...I could barely lift my arm! Then, I still take clients selectively and I crochet and knit...you get the idea! But I will be all set soon...alittle better each day. I send you love and healing energy as well. Hugs and kisses dearheart :)
