honestly feel healthier now than they did with the wax, I never realized how hard they were until I got it out, and yeah I think I got it all out cause I split a few of my thickest ones up and there was no wax in there cores. So YAY! haha I'm glad I did it too! & thank you :) :) :)

yeah i did the same method - do you feel like the dish soap and vinegar got it all out and do you feel like it damaged your hair? i've been worried about that - seeing as those are harsh things. but my hair feels pretty darn healthy still somehow. i got probably 85% of the wax out. i still have a tiny tiny bit from the 1 and only application of knotty boy wax that was put in my hair. so - i'm going to stop now - it is basically gone. and you hair will grow FAST now that it is healthier. it really will. i'm so glad you got the wax out. don't worry you lost some length. they look very cute :)

I actually used to vinegar and dish soap myself since I'm impatient and it was already here at my house haha. I've had wax in mine for 3 months luckily I never really used a bunch of it. There is still such a big difference. They aren't stiff and hard feeling anymore,but they are still locked up except some of the ends, but that's no biggy. I had a few I wanted to split that where just too stiff and I couldn't pull them apart before, and I was able to do them last night and kill two birds with one stone because after ripping them into two I was able to see that all the wax was gone!! Yay!! They feel so much better, and healthier! :)

did you use wax b gone? i just removed my wax too. i only had wax in for 3 days before i went nuts and soaked my head in vinegar and then scrubbed a billion times with dish soap to get it out ;) it is mostly out. how was your experience getting it out and how is your hair now? looks good!
