Welcome. Start off by checking out the dreaducation page. After that, look at the timeline forums to see what the first weeks/months look like. There's no speeding up your locks with severe damage to your hair. They just take time and patience.

So rule #1 for healthy locks: NEVER go to a salon.

#2: Never use wax, gels, creams, or art supplies to try and "fix" them

#3: Wash, wash and wash. 2-3 times a week is best for baby locks. Get a good non-residue shampoo and have at it.
