Thanks Hippiegal! I have stopped coloring so often since I have dreads and since the red fades so quick...I go from the screaming red I do to this softer tone. Since I am naturally a redhead (with grey now!), it works for me ok. (((HUGS)))
Wow! That's progress. Really wild! Great hair colour, too. I love the copper-mahogany colour range but it makes me look washed out. So I just enjoy seeing it on others.
I had my daughter count them and she gets 45. I have some phatties too...especially in the back. They run a bit smaller toward the front and I am sure I will let a few congo. I wanted something about middle finger size. With the bumps, they are waaaayyyyyyy big, but toward the middle and nearer to the root they are mostly about right. I was surprised that in the very back at my neck, after the hair was dreaded I kind of broke out with little dreads scattered here and there in between...like wild toadstools
how many locs do you have now? i have yet to count mine but i still have a lot of loose hair. i'm considering letting some of mine congo because most of my sections are thinner than a pencil.
ha! i wish i had started at your length. i've heard thinner hair dreads faster at shorter lengths.
I have one dread size chunk on the left, to the left of that ribbony piece just above my exclaimation points where I wrote...Sooo much shrinkage. It looks like a tail and it hangs down to my bra strap while the rest is up by my neck! LOL Aside from that, just the ends...which you can really see here because they stick out and a few very thin strays. Mostly all sucked in. I still have the bumps though, but many have shrunk some. Thank you Heather <3 I just wish that I had started with your beautiful length though
holy cow, lovely lady!!! i love the shrinking knots! i'm really looking forward to mine doing the same. it looks like you have twice the amount of hair, too;) is it all knotted up now or do you still have some loose stubborn hair hanging around? i have a ton.
