These are BEAUTIFUL!
For most of them about half of the lock is knotted and firm. Then the remaining half (and root) is loose but kind of twirled or wound naturally around. I could easily pull them apart up to the knotted part. I've been getting lots of little baby loops around the dreaded part so I know somethings happening!
i don't think they look thin either. mine are about the same size or even thinner. remember, when they shrink up they're going to at least double in size. if they're still thinner than you like a year from now then you could always congo some of them.
I don't think they look too thin, because they are going to get thicker over time. I did mine thinner for that same reason. They are nice and smooth too. You will end up with good looking dreads!
Thank you! I actually let my hair naturally section prior to t/r them, so I was thinking that it would be just right. Now I'm thinking they are REALLY thin! I had 61 when I finished, which is alot I guess. But I have one that actually tangled up in another and is wound around the other dread so I'm leaving it.
