The more I use this site, the more I see its about community and life style. I run into many of the same people in different discussions, and its interesting to learn from all of them. The information here has been so helpful and given me the confidence to go against the grain and let my hair dread. I was curious about dhhq, and checked out the site, I was able to find a photo gallery with product endorsments. But it was just that, all praise and good speak about the products. Kind of gave me the " Too good to be trues"

i feel very plesant when i come here because everyonie are so friendly :) there are no fighting and judgements.. plus, the most important, information about dreads are wide and useful. Sorry ppl, my english isn't so good :) bless to all!

I think this website is a GREAT idea...people need accurate information and support when it comes to getting and taking care of dreads.
The Dreadhead website was instrumental the creation of my dreadlocks (so I give them credit for that part of it)...I still use their soap and lock pepper (for doing my roots) but the rest of the products were pretty pointless....I'm so glad people have realised that there is no need for wax. I just found I did'nt like the look of my dreads when they had wax on them. My scalp has enough moisure on it's own : )

these forums have created their own loving community! the number one "no douchebaggery" rule is essential and i love that it is enforced. the best part is that everyone treats everyone else as equals.. there is no "my dreads are longer" mentality. Old heads helping young heads to seek a higher natural path. I love this site.. it feels like home and i'm grateful to be able to help others and to be a part of something positive and bigger than myself. :) Thank you papa eagle! <33

You know its a good site when you see 100% honest feed back. especially for a forum site. but heres another for the growing pile. this site is great. I never really got on the computer for much. I have myspace and facebook but i don't use them. but now i get on every day just to get on this site. its positive, intelligent, informative, and has alot of great people who all share something in common, THE LOVE OF DREADLOCKS! GREAT JOB SE for creating a great site so we all can get together!!!

most feedback pages tend to lean on complaints and negativity. I had nothing negative to say or complain about so I never checked till I read SE's message about feedback page being blank. I thought I might as well start a positive one, a new trend uhh... I guess everyone else thought the same thing (get out of my head, haha)
In all seriousness I like how mature the question and replies are. Regardless of what kind of dreads we "grow" natural, backcombing or crocheting it's all here and no one is judged... we're just guided & hi fived along the way. me likey.

Love it. The only thing is is that I'm hesitant to talk about how I used wax because every one seems dead against it. Usually it wouldn't matter, but it makes me feel like a bit of an idiot - and I don't want to have to undo all my efforts in maintaining my dreads to get the wax out. And I don't want people to keep reminding me how crap wax is etc. But great otherwise. I love the lay out, love the interaction.
