Yeah I read the story from your old pictures, I really love your first set and the new ones are so cute! They are coming along nicely (: & yeah I didnt even bother asking my fiance. He would've done it but he probably wouldn't have done it right hahah so I just managed on my own. They didnt come out "perfect" because I had a little trouble doing the back by myself but I'm not going to be anal about it. I likem messy. (:
:D Well I did love having my first set of dreads be blonde. We will see how it goes this time around! And I understand the not waiting to get dreads. For me once I decided to get them again it was so hard to wait! I did a combo of backcomb/tnr last time and wanted my hair sectioned again this time to use the same method. So I had to wait for my husband to help me and he really didn't want to help so it took a little while...
You know I combed my first set out after 4 years. It took me 3 months but I did it! And it is weird but after the dreading and all the dying and bleaching my hair was in great condition! I have seen my fair share of damaged hair from years of bleaching in the past myself too. xD

Yeah I purposely did the ends that way before dreading At first I wanted dip died turquoise tips so I bleach the ends, strand tested it with the turquoise, and loved it but I wanted to start my dreads so soon that I couldnt wait so I left them the ombre coloring !(; oh and also my real hair color is really dark brown (almost black) .I colored it a light brown and then washed it with silver lights shampoo because it was still black from months before when I dyed it. Then I had to deep condition for a week because my hair before I bleached was already damaged really bad then on top of that bleaching is terrible hah im surprised I still have hair. It worked out though, my hair is dreading well and also seems healthier...hard to explain!
Love the color on your ends. I was growing out the black dye in my hair before I started dreading. But it was only about half way there so I will have darker ends.
