i backcombed and then palm rolled each dread a bit then I just left them alone pretty much. these frizz got better every day.
I wash them whenever I feel like they need it. only about once a month and I use a vegan soap bar from Maylees garden I like the nag champa scented one.
for the frizz I think it was just time...they lock up by themselves...i spray some sea salt water on them once a month and palm roll when they are wet.
I also sleep with a wool tam on...
surrender to the journey sister enjoy!
I did backcomb them quite tight.. they were puffy and frizzy for sure but they tightend up real good...now they are super dreaded and tight in the first 5 inches at the roots and then they get a bit loose in lots of areas and I have lots of cool bumps and loops
I agree completely with soaring eagle... put the hook away and be patient!
welcome but crochets an extremel,uy bad idea it breaks a hellof alot of hair and delays progress by 6 months
