Hi Nanvula, I have just started dreads meself So I'm not sure if i'min a position to give recommendation. However, the rule is simple here..1. washing with baking soda. Just put on and let it sit for 10 mins then rinse with cold water (1 table spoon to 1 cup of water)2. light conditioning with apple cider vinegar. Put on and let sit for few minutes (1 table spoon to 1 cup of water)3. accelerate the locking with sea salt. spray on, let sit for few hours then rinse out with cold water. (1 table spoon to 1 spraybottle)That's my routine now. Hope it help

welcome sister why did u use wax? wax is really bad for dreads african hair does have a better chance at surviving wax but wax should never ever be used in dreads!glad your here hopefully we can help clean u upnamaste
