also..extentions are starting to become evil well the li=octicians thewy ttach them anyway in some countries peope wilth 10 ywar old natural dreads are beu[ing mugged and shaved their dreads sold as dread extentiuons

you really st=hould theow away the hook and stop palm rolling and leave em alone to recover

Welcome. But I have to warn you that crocheting is the most damaging thing that can be done to locks, after felting. It is even worse than wax. Wax can be scrubbed out with detergent and time. Crocheting does nothing but rips your hairs into smaller and smaller pieces, which weakens your locks, and can actually make them snap off in places, sometimes at the root (Leaving a bald spot). Also, extensions won't hold until your locks are fully mature. When you wash your hair and they loosen up, the extensions will come out.

As for palm rolling, it's not worth it. It only does 1 of 2 things. Either you don't do it often. In which case it doesn't create any lasting knots. Or you do it enough to see progress. if the latter, then it is severely destroying your roots. I did it for 2 weeks in the very beginning, and 6 years later I am still trying to fix the damage. There is a video on my page showing how much it hurts them

Thanks for the welcome guys, and SE thanks for the laughs - perhaps my choice of username was a bit more fitting than I realized. One of my many reasons for dreading was to finally do what *I* want with my own hair. Power, indeed.Mirrors are overrated anyway ;)

welcome medusa was a goddess whos terible crime was made men "like stone" (sexualy arounsed i think?)

zeus raped her and for that terible crime she was punished

because she was attractive and was raped she was never to know true love for any man that got close died

but that wasnt enough she couldnt simply be lonely she had to be scared so zeuse let it be known that her head would be the ultimate weapon..the power to defeat armies and rule the world so every warrior or control freak in the land was out to kill her and take her power

the story of medusa is realy the story of mens fear of womens power and thier need to control and destroy it

use your snakes wisely and watch out for the control freaks of the world who will try to destroy you

you have the power within you to stand up to any oposition

just watch out for those damn mirrors
