Welcome. So I guess you only crocheted them once? That's good. But Eagle's right, they will take about 6 months longer to mature, from here. They will get messier than normal as they undo themselves from the crocheting. So don't freak out when you locks get super frizzy. It's the normal healing from crochet damage. That frizzyness will go away with time
welcome but u should know crochets extremely bad fir dreads! use it just once and tha==ey arent gonna break but will take 6 months longer to dread use it alot and u completely dsestroy them
Welcome to the community Spicetress and to the best site on the web for healthy, happy dreadlocks. Letting nature form your dreads is the fastest method, if doing the twist & rip method, they need to loosen up in order to dread, so it is one step forward (seeing the sections right away), but then two steps back because they do not stay how they are made in the beginning. What ever method you choose, let your hair section naturally first, it may take only a couple of weeks tops, this way your hair goes where it wants to instead of being forced into sections....Peace
Welcome. The natural method is the healthiest and most rewarding. You won't regret going that route. I wish I had gone 100% natural. And I'm sure others feel the same. Be prepared for some members to be jealous of how your locks progress
