I'm sorry that DHHQ helped to kill your dreads the first time around, that must have been and awful experience for you.When we did my dreads we followed all their instructions and yes, I did band the tips but probably only for a few months....they used to perish and fall off...I was scared that it would all come unravelled if they were'nt on there. I believe if you want dreads of fairly uniform size then you have to start them off....twist and rip seeming to be the method of choice for most people now that better info is available : ) I wish you the best of luck with your new dreads Have a great day!

i dreaded my hair a few years back and over did it with the wax the rubberband, shampoos and all the other BS they try and sell you!!! I eventually cut them.... Ive done so much research since then and feel that im ready to take the journey.... i think your dreads are ill and hope mine will turn out similar...... when you backcombed did you rubberband the tips???

Hi Muss..well not completely natural, I had my husband section and back comb to start them off and then there was the B.S DreadHead HQ maintenance routine for a while untill I got tired of that, AND had better info from Soaring Eagle on maintenance. How about you? : )

They will look like mine, just takes time. They are busy dreading themselves for you while you sleep. : )Lovexxx
