I totally agree with Taye, you joined us all here to learn, and you certainly are...you will grow beautiful healthy locks Meg, don't you worry about a thing...peace
There is a huge difference between common sense and experience. You do have common sense. If you didn't.. you would not have asked questions. :D Hope you are having a beautiful day!!!!
Welcome to the community Meg and to the wonderful site of healthy dreading. Since you just started yesterday, if you don't want the super fat dreads, undo them. The best way for dreading, even if you want to do the twist & rip method, is to let your hair naturally separate into sections first. It will only take you a couple of weeks. During the waiting time you can learn all that you can from this site so you keep on a healthy journey. Start with the dreaducation section at the top of the site, and my posting will help you to: http://www.dreadlockssite.com/forum/topics/just-starting-out-what-to-expect?xg_source=activity
You will have a fun journey that will grow you beautiful, healthy dreadlocks...enjoy...peace
