Why did you become a vegetarian?

I would love to hear people's stories about why they chose this path of kindness and love. Why did you become a vegetarian?When I was in seventh grade I began to see the parallels between humans and animals and how it is horribly wrong to exploit our brothers and sisters and mothers and fathers for food.Then I got hit big when I watched a video of the methods used to slaughter the animals. It was without a doubt the most heartbreaking thing I've ever seen and those following days were the most emotional in my life.It's been over four years and I can't imagine myself going back! I also eat limited dairy and no eggs.
