not at all. the first time i used it (above) it actually was slightly drying. my tsheory on this is that henna being slighly acidic reacted with my oily hair. i hadnt washed it for a couple days, and i think the acidic combo made it drying. the last time i used it, it made my hair super shiny and strong feeling. so its conditioning in a good way. ive seen yours and i think they are mature enough for it to not loosen anything up. i love henna! the color looks natural. go to hennaforhair.com. best site ive found on it. i use jamilla. can be bought cheap on amazon.

did the henna loosen up your dreads at all? I've been thinking about using henna color but i heard it was really conditioning.
