welcome if the gel dries your hair why use it at alkl

if u dont use the 1 you might not need the other

the less products u use the better if u can use none u should but your hair type needs moiture so pure aloe or jojoba is a better option

hey! your hair is looking amazing. i was really hoping for some shrinking like your having by now but it just keeps growing. i'm definitely not as knotted up as you are though.

my scalp has never really been a problem but the heat here in california is really dry and so is my scalp now. it just feels tight and itchy. funny you mention your spray. i actually just bought a spray bottle at the store yesterday to do the exact same thing. i don't have any rosemary oil but i did tea tree, eucalyptus, and peppermint. i sprayed some on my scalp and then sat in front of the fan. it felt wonderful:)

i did the backcombing with the assistance of my daughter helping me section but the sectioning was so awful i ended up combing them out. after i found this site i was so excited to try natural but now i'm not so sure its for everyone. i have really soft undamaged hair. i never had a problem with knotting before and i think its going to be resistant in the long run too. i don't want to find out 6 months or a year from now that my hair is just not going to do it. i think helping it along using the natural sectioning its doing just might do the trick. we have the worst hard water here in southern california so dr. bronners or any natural soaps for that matter do not rinse out. i even have a problem getting the bs/asv out. it leaves a slimy residue on my already soft hair. not good for dreading. i did find a nice organic tea tree shampoo that rinses out great though. i'm going to wash tonight and try a little t&r tomorrow. on the top especially. we'll see how it goes.

hey renee! ya, i'm trying natural after i took out a badly sectioned backcombing. it's not going to well though because my hair is so soft. it's not knotting at all. what method did you do? your hair is beautiful.in regards to the hats, i don't have the time to sell them. i already have my own business. i just make them for fun. i would gladly send you one of the hats in the my pictures if you like. i love to share:) just email me your address and i'll get whichever one you want in the mail this week. foundandmade@aol.com
