clarifying shampoos ..well all that im aware of anyeways are harsh toxic chemicals that strip residues but arent exactly residue free they have thier own residues and at least suave and nutragena are only technicaly safe to use a few times a year www.dreadlockshampoo.com makes some of the best dreadlocks shampoos out there that are not only vegan and all organic but she researches every ingredient sourse extensively for ethics and instead of being water based they are made with beer so are very healthy forthe hair.. they also use a microfine clay for super cleaning the hihghest quality essential oils
the liquid makes it dread super fast too
Thanks for the ratios/advice, and gotcha! Weak acv because it is conditioning right? As far as what I wash with inbetween I'm just using the clarifying/residue free shampoos I had before starting the process - I hate to waste stuff and the one I use is vegan and leaves my hair feeling super clean. Still I LOVE the deep cleanse probably because the essential oils. Considering I have very fine, and thin caucasian type hair (even though I'm of mixed race) things are progressing in a lovely, messy fashion and I adore every moment. Love & light!
welcome but dont use lemon in the baking soida mix and make sure you do it right
1 part baking soda 10 parts water add essential oils...never lemon
soak 10 min then rinse then a weak acv rinse rinsing right away
the acv shouldbe very very diluted till they aremore mature
