Hi Kayla, just wanted to say your dreads are nice looking and if you'd happen to have any suggestions for mine to tame down a bit and stop coming undone? They are only 3 weeks old and i used the backcomb method, and I did them tight and to the scalp so how can I maintain them?

Welcome. Natural is your best bet. TnR is next best.

Welcome. But you don't need any gel to start locks. All you should be doing is washing 2-3 times a week with a non residue shampoo. Most gels actually cause problems. They build up residue in your locks which weighs them down and creates problems with mold and mildew
