Welcome. The only thing worse for locks than a crochet hook is wax. And it's a very close second. It may even be tied.
I'd advise you check out the dreaducation page and the recovery forums. Just for information and other members experiences.
Also, if you want to decorate your locks, Hemp and embroidery thread are MUCH better than sewing thread. Like Eagle said, with hemp and such, your wrap around your locks. With poking holes in your locks, you are weakening them and causing harm and damage
wecome u got 8=intence eyes but got to warn u the crochet hook and sewing in threads are both bvery very bad for dreads throw the hook away and stop poking holes in your dreads your only causing trouble tbat way
