I had so many flat ones and I was too lazy to palm roll vigorously even when I thought it helped, so I know they round themselves out. The only ones of mine still flat are the ones I lie on in the same way all the time.

I am actually hoping some of my dreads remain flat. I like them. Flapping for life!

I think they look cool when they are flat as much as when they are round. Especially the wide flat ones with zig-zags.
