the best thing u can do for dreads is next to nothing..they just love to be left alone to do what they want to doplus its so wonderful to just let go anfd not have to fuss over em all the time

the hook causes frizzies and fly awats by constantly breaking hairs so u even up having to constantly repair them for lifethey get too stiff too tight 1/3 as thick as they should be and eventualy become very weak (1 guy dove in a pool and 4 drewads fell off from the water impact) best thing to do..nothing u will never be rid of loose hairs and fly aways so just accept them igtnore them unfortunately since u crochetted they will get far far worse u will get extreme fuzz from all the broken hairs and they will take at least 6 months to recover soften up not be so stiff and scratchythe only maintenance dreads need is washing and seperating and thats it..nothing else ever
