Welcome tot he community Jon. And may I say congratulations on baby #7. You have entered into a wonderful journey, one you are doing for yourself. I too pleased others throughout my life and @ 49, it was time to find who I was and always wanted to be, so good for you. I see you started with T&R, as I did, so here are some tips I posted along my journey.....peace.....http://www.dreadlockssite.com/forum/topics/just-starting-out-what-to-expect

i quite b4 i turned 21 and have helped many many quit

but others think they can just drink a lil wich may worj=k for a short time till something srreesses em then it 1 after another till they dont remember how they got home and check the bumpers for blood just in case

its a toxic poision and once its toxified your life not just your body then its got to be removed from the equation entirely

Welcome to the community and the best site on the web for healthy dreadlocks. Hope you did not also use was or it will never let your dreads mature and causes other problems. They look gorgeous. Here is a map of your water type. With soft water, any dread shampoos and bars work fantastic, but with hard water, the choices are limited as most of them leave behind a residue build up. www.dreadlockshampoo.com has the best bars and liquid shampoos that works fantastic in hard water, and the creator of them is also a member on this site. I have posted tips and what to expect with the T&R journey on my page: http://www.dreadlockssite.com/forum/topics/just-starting-out-what-to-expect?xg_source=activity

Enjoy your journey and the wild ride....peace
