Welcome. I agree, check out the pages on the damages of crocheting. To sum it up, crocheting is the second most damaging method after felting. It is even worse than wax. All crocheting does is rips your hair into smaler and smaller pieces. This weakens your locks, considerably. Up to 70%. Because more and more hairs re broken, you end up with more frizzies, that make it look like you need to crochet more. That will only cause more damage.

Also, crocheting makes your locks stiff and hard. The most mature locks should be soft and spongy

Honey? Really? honey is food. It should never go in your hair. It's like leaving food in your kids hair because it helps locking. Honey is sticky, and will trap dirt, dust, lint, everything you don't want it locks. And it will no doubt attract bugs and insects. It has no place in your hair
