Welcome to the community Johnny Bravo. When your hair grows longer, you will see the dreads forming, for now they will do the separating and mapping out your dreads. When your hair is wet, just shake it or pat it gently with a towel...Peace

Welcome. What method did you use to start your locks? I'm not sure what that "hair food" is, but most likely, it doesn't actually do anything for your locks. It probably leaves tons of residue in there, which is really bad for dreadlocks

Hey JuJuBe. Locs will form faster if washed more often. Since you normally have dry hair & scalp, just wash them once a week, but wet them with water only the other two times to accelerate the locking process for you. This will quicken your journey....Peace

Welcome to the community JuJuBe. If you hair is left alone, it will section on its own and tell you where it naturally wants to be. That is the best way to get started. All you need to to is wash 2-3 times a week, separate any sections trying to join together and sit back to enjoy the ride. Keep them product free from gels and waxes of any kind.......Peace
