ok it was manyyears ago but lets see if i can give ya an idea where it is..or was if your in the french quarter at the riverfront facing the big church in the square there youd go right..a few blocks and a few blocks in from the river theres a big market i remember..like an open air market or venders it was a block or so from there
9jn between the french quarter and the warehouse disc-trict if i remember correctly
welcome dont use that mango lyme stuff thats for african hair only and use a non residue not anto=i residue (well the anti will remove the mango lyme junk at least but dont use it often its very toxic)
dont bother palm rolling either
i love new orleans too whats that lil place off from the frnch quarter its a bar with music..and a laundromat too? i loved that place checkpoint charleys thats it
Welcome. I love New Orleans too. I went down there for a Louis Armstrong's Birthday Jazz festival last year. It was great. A very beautiful city.
Don't use anti-residue shampoo, though. Those shampoos strip oils from your hair, but leave a residue of their own (I know, it sounds backwards). Get a good Residue-free shampoo. Dr. Bronners is good, but in La., you probably have hard water, and Dr. B's won't work well. Dreadlockshampoo.com sells the best soaps for locks.
And don't bother palm rolling them. Palm rolling, if any lasting knots are created, destroys your locks.
thanks for the add yo.. keep dreading its really rewarding.. welcome to the site and enjoy
could be same place new owner even then cause yea thats where and what it was
