Well i was using the non Iodine sea Salt you buy for in food. When i went up to visit a friend in the cities we stopped at the closest pet shop. the owner filled and sold containers form a bulk supply, i never got a brand. i'm not sure it would matter? The tank sea salt as i understand is formulated to have the same properties as being in the ocean, but without the pollution where as table sea salt is food grade which is gonna be slightly different. So after this rambling answer. As long as it's made for a tank and not the table i say save a buck and go for it!
absolutely they will but they will do far far worse they get swallowed and melt into a sticky mess thsay cause weak spots u never want rubber bands in dreads!

The sections are not all the same size. I followed the natural grain of my hair on the sections and any thing I wasn't sure about I left out of the bands. I ave about 40 dreads. I was wondering if the bands will restrict the dreading process at all
welcome but why do you want them all the same size> they look better a blend of szes what you can do is seperate them to prevent any from getting too big or falling outside of tghe size range you want
if you sectuion then go natural its onbly going to resection itselgf the way it naturaly wants to section anyway
Welcome. You should NEVER tighten your roots. The loose hair down there is absolutely necessary for new growth to snag and tangle with. If you tighten them, you are making the roots thinner and thinner. At some point, they will be too thin and weak to hold the weight of the lock itself. That means they may snap off in time. Once a week is not as bad as some people do every day, but it is still just as destructive.

Welcome. They will form in their own good time. On average it takes a year to see real mature locks. Check out the timeline forums
