welcome 1st get that wax out they will never dread right with wax in themuse the wax removers because wax is next to impossible to remove even with the best wax remover it takes months of effort to get just a lil wax outwax prevents knotting and dreading it just compresses any existing knots into a wax core but u never wull get any actual dreading just hardening wax trapping dirt and grimewhen u remove the wax they will be much more flexibvle softer and will actually dread way way faster then waxy dreads ever willif your afrocan u need moisture so plain ol aloe vera (straight from the plant) or shea butter or jojobaif your not black, nothing but sea salt sprays
