Perhaps something to start a thread on here but . . . I am also a machinist. I do not work on CNC's much yet as I have not gone to tech school (maybe when my kids are older though). I do manual work. Mainly a couple Acme Gridleys but also a lot of screw machine, manual mill, bending, etc. etc. We make fasteners. Anyways, its a lot of oily work so I actually wear a large brimmed tam. Oil splashes around and such with some of the things I do. I don't get soaked or anything but I worry about whether it soaks through and if I should just wash my hat often or what? What are your thoughts?
