No, Star, they're just very dark. I have a great camera on my phone...some reason I don't have mobile data at work, so I can't really use it.. So all crap photos are taken off my macbook with terrible lighting... Now that you mention it though, I can't wait to start dying my hair all sorts of colors and accessorizing!
