People asked so i tell them, im not promoting or cussing it, its justneutral information. My dreads were like 3 inches long when i got them man, wax may indeed spread up your dreads but i dont think that has happened and as far as my locs go it hasnt done them any harm, i have done about 9 sets of locs for friends and i have not used wax for any, i dont believe in it and would never use it on any one.
I didn't mean any offense. I just saw that you made a point to tell Izzy that you used wax and crocheted. I just don't want others to get damaging info. And the wax may have only been used sparingly, but it doesn't mean it washed out. It's still there, just buried deep inside. And as wax heats up, it can spread to other parts of your locks.
Crocheting once or twice wont hurt them much, so that's no big deal. Especially since it was done a while ago.
Man so many spelling mistakes and missing words, very tired lol. Goodnight
Dude i crotcheted like once or twice aroujd 3 months to 5 months and i only used it on the body of the dread and no to pull loose hair in. i have done anything to my hair for over well over two years now. When i got my locs they were very short so the bits that were waxed are very tiny bit of the dread and they were not heavily waxxed so im not too bothered
Are you planning on getting that wax out at some point? They look good now, but that's probably due to the wax and crocheting. I mean, they look nice, and if that's what you're going for, don't stop. But for the health and longevity of your locks, why wouldn't you try to wash the wax out and give up on crocheting?
You have very intense eyes! Beautiful!
Dreads are lookin great dude!
They done with back comb and dread wax and a litrle bees wax, they were very short at around 3 months icrotchet the body of the dreads to tighten them up. Other than that i seprated all day everyday put beads on roots the were going mental.
how did you get your dreads so clean and tight?
