I've kept track with the dreads that have had wax, and the ones I snipped. I tore apart and found nothing but towel lent from drying. Like I've said, I don't stay out in the sun for hours, Wind factor c'mon now my scalp will feel the heat, The dreads will catch the cool wind. Don't stick words in my mouth. I don't blow dry. I'll take a walk on any given day. there's always wind blowing somewhere or I'll just take a cruise on motorcycle. There's no way you can tell from my 30 month timeline that I've used wax. For the record, tracking where&what I have done with my dreads from waxing tips/ congo's that form/ loops that add to thickness/new dreads growing/ is relativity small compared too How much length has grown from the beginning.
I'll give you some kudos, Wax can spread, but gravity will take it one direction.
Haha, I still have this one natural that i didn't want to get caught in a congo. And It was tiny forming perfect with those tiny knots coming together about inch long. And now it's more than a foot long.
Dreads with continue to grow unlike wax (they don't grow). Wax is slowly shrinking barley surviving, dangling by the tips.
Well I don't sit in the sun for hours. I could leave a candle stick on my porch and it will still be there, yeah it will be more easily malleable by the end of the day in the sun for hours, but you got realize other factors that dreads go through other than looking awesome such as feeling fresh air/washing/ect.ect. And you might be mistaking natural hair oil getting around. My forehead sweats too and gets on my pillow/my hands they tend to touch my hair and my hands sweat excessively. But it is Not like I continue to wax purposely.
Welcome. But wax, when heated, melts a bit and flows into other parts of your hair. So it will get into areas of your locks that weren't waxed. It'll be worth it to wash the wax out. it's aggressive, but it'll be so much nicer
Welcome. What happened with the other sets?

dread wax melts at a much lower temp u go ip[out when its 90 and it melts and flows around u blow dry..it melts nd flows
u wash with hot water it melts and flows
parafin is the wax in vcandles it melts at a much higher temp
50 degreeds higher
you can see by your picture u=its there (u dont have to see actual wax to see evidence of waxes pressence)
trust me if u do wax removal they will be a thousand times better

doesnt it move from head to pillow from hair to fi=orehead
doesmnt it move to your clothes?
Thanks for the comments below, but I highly doubt that the wax will move into other areas. It's not like I
