I'm going on--guesstimating--about 2 months of total neglect now. Even though I had a few dreads back in August, I was still brushing my hair up into a 'poof' on top of my head...to get it out of my face. Since, somewhere around early September, I have gone to full neglect. So...that's basically how I arrive at 2 months of total neglect...and new dreads forming every day. : )
I admit to doing a few T & R dreads on the lower layer of my hair (maybe 4 or 5 dreads), but they seem to unravel...then start forming naturally in their own way. Like I said, my hair has a mind of its own. hahaha
It's harder than one might think to just 'let it all go' and not touch your hair in any way. Or so it is for me. Yours looks like it's coming along nicely though. Thanks so much for commenting. It really does help to know I'm not alone in m struggles to be natural.
