Not actually a yoga practitioner but have done a couple years of qigong and kung fu. Have been thinking of looking into it lately in my local area so I came on here to get some ideas :)

i adore yoga, but due to damaged nerves in my neck which has lead to rsi's in my wrists i am unable to do many of the usual poses ie down dog, plank, table and loads more.. its really set me back! i love vinyasa flow yoga. my fave instructor/vid is Sean Corn shes awesome!!

And I am back in the states a certified yoga instructor! I just need to start teaching somewhere now. The Bahamas did wonders for my newly forming dreadlocks. I am coming up on my 6 months!

i like to do yoga because it's my opportunity to focus entirely on my self.

nowhere to be, just breath and movement.

when i'm in the midst of that moment and all thoughts drift away,

i discover the yoga life in a whole new essence.

it's truly blissful. my way of finding my inner bliss. <3

I have been practicing yoga for over 10 yrs solo. I have not taken in classes. I have just been using dvds or just doing my own routine that I learned through yoga journal. I love yoga and how it get me to slow down and connect with my soul.

Asheville has this amazing free yoga studio that I have been attending and I am so in love with it. Yoga makes me feel much more confident and in touch with myself afterward. It also ALWAYS makes me hungry after! haha

I love the way i feel after doing yoga. I just wish i had my own place so i could create a peaceful atmosphere without the shouting and stomping in the background.
