I'm a first time traveler. I haven't left this town my whole life. I am on a college budget, so I don't make any money.( I dont care about money). A very close friend and I are taking a huge step by wooffing in Maui. Wwoofing is where you exchange work on a farm for food and shelter. I've yet to contact any of the farms and right now I am exploring the www for wwoofing reviews. If anybody is an experienced wooffer, please give any advice you have to offer.

I have always had the urge to travel, but What I had in mind doesn't mesh with my girlfriends ideas. She is very attached to her family, and doesn't want to move too far away from them for long periods of time. We settle for going hiking and camping a lot during the summer. So far, West Virginia is my favorite place to be. I haven't taken her there yet, but will soon. Does anyone have some recommendations for places we need to go? We're getting married in 2 months, and our Honeymoon will be to Ireland. But traveling abroad is not much of an option after that because I am not working, so money will be tight. Where do you guys think is great in the US? preferable the east coast. We're from Pa.
Comment by greenblayza on September 21, 2011 at 12:42am Hello fellow travelers! I'm new to the dread family, but already feel much love. I've traveled around much of Europe and I'll be visiting some places in Southeast Asia in the next year. I've been living in South Korea for a year and I'll be here for one more before moving south. If any of you are in the part of Mother Nature's back yard feel free to get a hold of me - I love meeting people and sharing experiences!
