I am in love with tea. i drink nearly a galllon a day ( literally, i have a half gallon tea pot). growing up i drank coffee, and i mean from a YOUNG age. then i one day decided to give it up and now drink exclusively tea. all kinds. from orange pekoe, to green tea, from english breakfast to cannichai.

i also use an herb tea for my dreads, containing rosemary, sage, marjoram, savory, thyme, oregano, basil and parsley. then after that, i add a couple of teas that i also drink that contain green tea, lemongrass, spearmint, hibiscus, rose hips, mango and passionfruit (not all in one tea of course but mixed)

i mix the herb tea with baking soda in a gallon pitcher an fill it the rest of the way with water. Then i mix the other teas, since they leave my dreads smelling so nice, with my apple cider vinegar so that theyre the last thing in my dreads. works amazingly

yea thats right Ethon, Im definately no expert but when boiled the sting goes away. I think the leaves have little hairs on them where the sting is. Any i belief only touching the leaves stings you if you pick from the stalk you may not get stung. Prop where gloves just incase. Usually here in the UK wherever stingy nettles grow a dot leaf does also Its a broad green leaf with red dots and that torn up and rubbed over the nettle sting releaves it. Please be carefull picking as I am definatley no expert at all. There was some poor lady in a newspaper over her last week that accidently foraged for mushrooms and picked death cap mushrooms which was fatal for her. :( I have a total respect for nature and only pick absolutley what im certain of as things can look very simular. This pine tea looks amazing, I need to try this, good ol bear! :)

oh and no they didnt get stung on the inside, its only the needles or whatever on the outside that sting, the inside is totally edible

I was more thinking would you actually get stung in the mouth while drinking the tea.

Hey another way out tea i've just found out about on 'Man V's wild' with Bear Grills is Pine needle tea, he just brews up the billy on the fire and adds the pine needles to the boiling water, so of course my son and I brewed up a pot and i thought it would be disgusting, but wow it was really OK. Beear Grills said it has 5% more vitiman C than lemons, it did have this citrousy after taste. The needles loose their colour alot when simmering but i suppose thats all the goodness going into the tea!
