When I saw this group....I thought pastafarian was a religion where we all could worship pasta...I'm a little disappointed. Oh well....I will continue to worship my pasta.

That's not what pstafarianism is. It came out of a decision from the kansas board of education to allow teaching intelligent design in classrooms in public school. A man was pissed and stated that teaching that god created the world was like saying a flying spaghetti monster got drunk and made the earth by touching it with a tentacle. Wiki has a great article on how it came about. My cousin introduced it to me 5 years ago when he introduced me to richard dawkins.
