It's been a week since I started this journey, that's my hair now.

I watched a video of a girl making TnR dreads and she said "yeah, getting dreads is painful"  I thought to myself, 'no, it really, really shouldn't be...' this is why I chose neglect.

Hey everyone! So...I've just decide to start things off by throwing away the hairbrush!!! Going to let it go and see what happens...can you lovely people please direct me information/offer up your pearls of wisdom on a couple of things for me....firstly...sectioning...I want to avoid huge massive things going on...any thoughts? Please tell me that I do not need to fear the Beaver Tails that seem to be showing up all over my head.  I have been dreading for about 6 weeks or so, first used TnR and since then, nada.  The beaver tails seem so matted and ewwww. I do separate cuz I don't want congos overly much.

Comment by storm frog on December 5, 2011 at 10:26am

yea beads do help control them but make sur to take em off once and awhile so ur dreads get thicker. natural is so much better all kinds of different shaped dreads with all sizes
