After trying almost everything I believe I have come up with something that will work!

 

One day I decided to jus cut open the moldy ones just to see what was in there. Later I soaked them in straight white vinegar with orage oil, tea tree, grapefruit and Vit E oil (vit E helps the scalp).... for about 20-30 mins....I then did the baking soda wash soaking it and wringing it out really good with the same oils....(i did not rinse the vinegar)...... I used alot of the oils...so when i rinsed it out alot of it stayed in the dreads.....

 

then i rinsed it all out really good.....the next time i washed it I didnt use so much oils. It smellls so much better!!

 

I think the cutting them open and allowing whatever mildew that was in there an easier way to escape plus the oils sitting in there killing it for a couple weeks really did it!

 

I dunno....i'll update again next time I wash an see how it smells an looks. 

 

an you cant tell that they have been cut...i jus split them down the sides and i gotta look for the ones I did it to. They are starting to redread themselves closed.
