messy crazy hair just suits me. im only 6 days into my dreading and almost everyone says it really suits me! haha! im not sure if thats a compliment really, but im taking it as one. i love my crazy knotty mess so much! i dont know why people get so angsty about their early days/months into dreading... its awesome and makes me stand out... (not that i need my hair to do that haha!)

I have all different size sections forming. They havent really tightenened a whole lot. Only been doing the natural method for a little over a week. Not sure how long loc takes, but its part of my journey.  I love not even thinking about hair as a "style" anymore.  There is freedom in this to me.

My hair is so messy that my wife told me I look funny...almost broke my heart...then she made up for it so I am all good now lol

we should all get together for a "messy hair" group photo! Many messy heads are better than one! Makes all the "straight hairs" feel out of place!

I love it personally but the part that makes me wear my hats are people at school and the different people i meet everyday, my friends support it. my anxiety makes me wear a hat ( 1 year of neglect and i only have 2 dreads and 2 starting to dread ) hats are just as bad a combs! next monday im having my friend steal my hat so i cant wear one even if i really want to lol

I love my messy hair too, my son told me the other day I have holiday hair !! lol love it. Look like a beach bum with no beach around for miles and miles hahaha

Agreed love seeing the stages , thankfully I don't have people around me that are negative, all support my journey :)

Woohooo for neglect method.. combs are evil!!
