i do eat grains. but my grain consumption is organic and usually just when i am making a gluten free version of something that normally contains gluten.

That can absolutely be a factor! The modern way of eating grains and the type make me angery when I eat them.

i think it is associated with my gluten intolerance. i just recently went gluten free because i have had sensitivity issues, but i think it may also have been associated with my mood issues as well. i'm going to start taking spoonfuls of coconut oil again. i do get a lot of sun. but maybe i should try getting sun in the morning.

There are a few things that have helped me.

1) making sure I get enough fats. The brain is the #1 consumer of fat and cholesterol.

2) Vitamin D from the sun

3) Lots of vitamin Bs

4) Consuming my placenta (it is a little late for that, but I did after my last 2 kids)

"The Mood Cure" is an awesome (well researched) book that can help pin point nutritional deficiencies and what to do about it.

Learning more and more all the time! I frequently use herbs, essential oils and whole foods to keep my family healthy.

I just bought this all natural deodorant called Thai crystal. Its made from mineral salt. Has anyone tried this product. Any pros and cons.

Does anyone know how to make homemade kombucha? I hate spending money on something that can be made at home. Its like buying an overpriced kool-aid from the grocery store.

Anyone else here practice a set of yogic exercises called the Five Tibetans/Five Tibetan Rites of Rejuvenation? Have started practicing them and they seem to indeed have a powerful effect on the body/mind energy system, very simple and time efficient to practice as well
