Anyone here use a hoodie for surfing?...i live in ireland so its cold in the winter, I cant imagine a normal hood will fit over my dreads so im thinking i can get a wetsuit band for stopping my ears falling off...anyone use something like this? Strangely i dont know any dreadie surfers!

I love bodyboarding!... My dreads just get heavy with the water, so i have to tight them back so it can dry faster and avoid getting hit in the face with the beads xD!

ok so i'm a snowboarder, also into mountainbiking, some climbing and whitewater when the opportunity arises. i'll be running again when my back heals up. oh and i got a old 10-speed/fixie project i hope to be building up over the summer

so what does a serious shredder do for training? you gotta be kidding me. there is a reason you can get PBR 40s in a case of 12 at mt hood, its because pabst should be in the nutrition pyramid of any ski town. seriously, no matter where you are from people say "oh we drink so much at home" well i have to say i rarely see it done like they do in the mountains. but back to my training regime: 7:30 roll up in the parking lot for some summer shredding on the glacier, sit out and get your gear in line. make a bowl of granola and peanut butter and wash it down with some liquid bread. then i sit and my lawn chair, lace up my boots, and put colourful zinka sunscreen on my nose, not because i need it but because it looks cool. then i sit there for a couple hours and wait for the snow to soften up. as the racers leave around 9:30 or 10:00 i clip one of their tickets and ride for free all day. then post up at camp and... you guessed it! start gettin hyphy! grab some grape soda and a cheap handle of vodka real classy like. and then go on to chain smoke an whole pack of cowboy killers.

ok... that was supposed to be funny, hope youre laughing a lil. i think snowboarders can be super committed yet the laziest athletes ever at the same time. some train super hard, i personally love going out of bounds a week after a good storm and hike for my fresh tracks. on the other hand there is a side to snowboarding known for... well, sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll. mostly just the 2nd two because if you hang out around most ski towns you will soon realize that the guy to girl ratio is terribly unbalanced toward the male gender sadly.

My thing is running..I love to run....mostly only a couple of miles right now...My runing partner is my dog Chief..He keeps me alert...lol..Been running since 1995 on and off~

I run 3-4 times a week. I LOVE RUNNING. It keeps me sane. makes the scalp get nasty much faster though, and after about 2 1/2 weeks of no washing I get itchy. Guess that's not too bad compared to some stories I see on the site about having the itchies. I mostly stick to treadmill running now so the wind doesn't catch my wispies so much.
