Ready to break out of the southeast, been climbing all around here for the past 6 years and wanting to explore new areas out mid-west just case there's anyone with some reference or wants to climb... Have plenty of gear for sport climbing, and bouldering. No trad rack tho/-:

what's up fellow climbing enthusiasts!
andy sorry to hear about your accident but i'm glad to hear that you aren't going to let it keep you down! i'm sure you being out there will be able to inspire many others.
well, here in the midwest us it's still a little too hot to get out much but the training is in progress. i'm super psyched for the fall~!

Hi Andy. Wow you have had a rough few months then? Its great to see you are staying positive and looking forward to getting back into the action. I have seen people do amazing things with prosthetics. When you get used to it I'm sure you will forget you even have it when your climbing or riding. My daughter lived in Stirling for a while working as a nanny. She said it is a beautiful place. I have always wanted to go to Wales, its so, so beautiful in pictures. Make sure you post some pics of your next climb! Good luck with the leg, I hope it all goes well.

hey sorry catherine, i was in a serious road accident at the start of march and havent been on this page since, but yes it really is a brilliant course and being in scotland im in the perfect place for it too haha you just need someone who'll stand at the bottom and belay for you haha. i actually lost my leg in the accident, so gonna be doing some karate kid style climbing (one legged :P) for a while til i get good enough on my prosthetic, which i should have this week! its gonna be a good journey of discovery and learning and i cant wait to get back on a cliff face and on my bike etc! haha

I am envious Andy...I would love to do something like that, we have the perfect landscape for that where I live but alas I have no one to climb with me. Enjoy everyday your out there and spare a thought for me when you are hanging off the side of a 100 foot cliff face ;O)
