i grew up on farm, i lernt to climb trees bearfoot!! i ran around all my youth in fields and on farm tracks with muddy feet!!
wen u spend more time barefoot u remember how much feeling and dextarity we have in our feet!!
easy way to show it . stand on one leg and close ur eyes, see how long u can keep ur balnce.... now do it again without shoes... mine almost doubles
if natural balance isnt enough to persuade u to loose the shoes i duno what is!!

I was born bare foot I'll die bare foot. haha i mean i'll wear sandals but everyday i find myself taking them off more often. Shoes are just so restricting, i just love the grass kissing my feet.
Comment by Ethon O'Brien on June 1, 2012 at 9:14pm i always go barefoot when i can, i wear shoes a little more often since i broke my toe last year haha, but still go barefoot alot. just funner. plus im a martial artist so i train barefoot

Not to bust the groove of this topic, but, by chance, has anyone every tried those barefoot/toe shoes? I don't know what brands are even worth considering, or if they are even worth it at all. I've heard great reviews. Nothing is better than the real thing. But they are probably the closes thing to getting that feel with a little more protection

i <3 mine!
Comment by raene folden on April 10, 2012 at 9:40pm you have feet for a reason and calluses form for a reason, embrace it. :)

I hear you cunningham. I end up walking around town barefoot in the summer, but I have to look everywhere I step cause I live in a city, and there's broken glass all over the place. It's pretty gnarly. But it's worth the extra effort to be barefoot

i've always loved being barefoot, but as i got older i stopped. but today one of my flip flops broke after one of my classes so i just threw both of them away and walked the rest of the day at school barefoot. :) it's getting colder, though :(
Comment by Paul L. on September 13, 2011 at 8:09pm I love going barefoot. If I could, I'd never wear (or even own) shoes.
