Hi Gingerlocks, saw your question on Knotty chat asking if you can wash in just water until your dreadlock shampoo arrives. You could, but you could also use a small water bottle, with water of course, and add a drop of Dawn dish soap into it. Just one or two tiny drops will do. That way it will get rid of any scalp oils that you may be producing in the meantime. Just one or two TINY drops into the water bottle will do fine. Buy the smallest bottle at the store you can find. ...peace

Wazzup Gingerlocks. Please do your locks a favor and do not use crochet hooks anymore. I know you did it to get started, but don't let anyone talk you into "tidying" them up with a hook. Crochet hook & wax are both the biggest no nos for dreaded hair. In case you have not read it yet. crocheting breaks hairs into tons of tiny pieces, eventually leading the dread to fall off. They need full strands of hair to support them, think of a weak link in a chain, it's no good with a damaged link.

i assumke u use t gel for dandruff? dreadheadhq shampoo causes dandrudff..psoriasis dermatitis balding..and cancer
