I think that the only major difference is that TnR will give you something that looks kind of like dreads in the beginning, but in the end it'll all dread if you let it, so not too much of a difference. Hope it all goes well peace

well u can simply stop combing and let u=it dread itself they dont all dread at once so u can get a few dreads here and there and then decide if u want to continue but im sure u will
