welcome but yea crochets extremely extremely bad for dreads if you have crochetted that long they will be fairly weak by now! its extremely destructive and you have to stop if you want your dreads to last

Welcome. But crocheting is the most damaging thing that can be done to locks. It breaks hairs and maks your locks weaker and weaker. If you keep crocheting, they can actually snap off in places. And if you crochet he roots, they can fall out at the rot, and leave a bald spot.

No work should ever be done on the roots. It destroys locks

Welcome. Wax is a pain to get rid of, but it's possible. Check the wax removal page. if you have any questions, do be afraid to ask.

Locks are easy. You just wash and separate. They need no other work. That's where a lot of people get lost. Dreadlocks mature naturally. As long as you don't comb/brush your hair, and use a non residue shampoo, they will grow
