Thickening Dreads?
So...
I'm on my 5th-6th week, I stopped REALLY keeping track
and they're looking good...tightening up, yes making progress, but my hair as far as the amount of it seems like it's getting...idk...thinner, and one thing I liked about my hair was especially how much I had of it...
Will the dreads thicken over time?
I wanted to keep volume to my head, lol
I heard on another site that yes they do thicken allot after becoming more mature, and it's surprising how thick so I decided to start seperating the congos I intentional tried to put together, I have around 48 now...
I just want to know that they get thick, cuz I love the way a thick head of dreads looks and ZI can only imagine how awesome it feels too...lol

oh and I also had a question about roots...
My roots are very loose, about 2 inches and it seems the only parts dreading are the middle and some of the ends now...
Will my roots start to dread?

yes they thicken yes the roots will dread
i dont recomend congoing untill theyre mature so u can see how thick they'll get
typicaly the root section size is roughly the same as the dread size will be...unless u crochet then you'll be 1/2 as thick as u should be

one more thing...
I'm noticing that whats basically happening is my curls are shriveling into my head to form a knot...
stupid of me to ask really cuz it seems that's exactly what's supposed to happen...but...
The length of my hair is going down like 5-6 inches if that's the case! lol
Does this happen? The hair length gets cut in half???

at least 1/2 chances are by time its mature and begins to grow it will be 1/3 the length it was
