I started dreading about 3 weeks ago. they looked awesome for about a week, then the roots began to come apart and now i have nice neat hair at the top about 3 or 4 inches of it. and really short messy loose dreads on the bottom. i tihnk it looks terrible. i went all natural and did the twist and rip method. no wax's nothing and i wash with the baking soda mixture. where did i go wrong!

also many of them are coming loose underneath by the roots and stick straight out. i am tempted to just crochet in the root hairs and leave them to dread starting from the top, because i think i messed up while dreading them to begin with.
