I started dreading about 3 weeks ago. they looked awesome for about a week, then the roots began to come apart and now i have nice neat hair at the top about 3 or 4 inches of it. and really short messy loose dreads on the bottom. i tihnk it looks terrible. i went all natural and did the twist and rip method. no wax's nothing and i wash with the baking soda mixture. where did i go wrong!
also many of them are coming loose underneath by the roots and stick straight out. i am tempted to just crochet in the root hairs and leave them to dread starting from the top, because i think i messed up while dreading them to begin with.
nonono crocvhrt you have baby dreads this is what they must do
they will get messy awghile
if you cant get through the messy stage u cvcabnt really dread

its something u got to accept and enjoy
