If it lightens to much ill have to cut my hair and id reeeeeeeeeeeally hate that so i have to make any color change look like an accident thats why lemon juice would be perfect....Plz help I have african texture dark brown hair, its mostly locked

the change is very gradual   very  and so subtle you can easily say you were just in the sun alot

im not sure how effective it will be in african hair  never tried it to see but u can use it 10 times and only lighten a shade

noone will even notice for awhile till u lightebn a few shades

Thanks thats what imma do then...i just heard it has a diffrent effect on are hair none to alot but im not sure if those are reliable
It is true that lemon juice can have a subtle lightening effect on most hair...but, be careful! In some hair, it can lighten quite alot even after it is rinsed off. Also, there are many people who find that after they lighten the hair a small amount, every new exposure to sun continues to lighten the hair. So, you really could end up with very light hair. Also, there are a small proportion of people who get little or no change from lemon alone, so if you don't...don't keep trying because you will only be inflicting damage. Make sure that you do not leave the lemon on all day or let it dry into the hair. Once you are done, rinse it thoroughly.
The only time I've ever used lemon juice was to get strong odors out of my locs.
Thanks everyone

Oh, I agree with you in that respect, it is very drying and especially to African American hair...but if he is determined I figured I would give hime some variables. Thanks Doctor P.J. :D
