Dreads in the Family

What is so awful about being called a stoner, or a dirty hippie, or whatever someone calls you. Its just a word. If you are happy with yourself and your lifestyle then who cares what words others use to describe it?

Wedding Dreads

Dreadlocks Journey Emotional Support

Hey guys! So my wedding will be this October, and as you can see in my pictures my hair to too short to put up. It is no longer shrinking though which is good, but I have no idea how much I can hope for it to grow in 5 months! I want to be able to wear an up do. Any ideas for us short dreaded gals?? I've tried everything I've seen already and failed because they're too short. Also, what's everyones opinions on "fringe" so far everyone I know personally says don't do one. I really don't want to brush out my bangs I love the dreads but I feel like it would be a more feminine look for my wedding day.

Thanks,

any thoughts help

-Michelle

shortie dread style ideas???

Dread Accessories

hi guys! so i'm at this extra shrinkage stage, loving my dreads short and all, but i'm finding that the only way to wear them is with a headband, they still look kind of funky down... anyone have any other ways they wore/wear their shorties???

NATURAL CONGOS, POST YOUR PICS!!!

Introduce Yourself

Here's a pic of my hair today, about day 45. I get congos really bad on the back too, but that's just a part of the process i guess. Hopefully this makes you feel better because at the top there are no locks and I feel like it might look like what you think is your bald spot.

CONGO!

Dread Maintenance

Man, I just typed out this awesome post about how my dreads are congoing bad. I'm too tired to re-write. Anyway, do you just rip them apart or is this too damaging to the roots? I am afraid that I am ripping out of the roots or something. Any advice? Sorry you guys probably get sick of this question but I'm a noob and after all the horror stories I've read I dont want to be bald yet.

Thanks
